Performed in Venice Experimental Cinema and Performance Festival (2014), “Love Thy Neighbor!” is an adaptation from an earlier performance called “Love Thyself!”. It involves 6 strips of paper on which the audience is asked to fill out freely with a black marker. These strips of paper are then to be pasted on the artist’s back with blood created by the scalpel wounds he inflicts on himself. Once the performance is finished, the papers are given back to their creators.
